Operation of project to upgrade and expand 5 clean water plants

On July 23, Phu Tho Water Supply Joint Stock Company held a conference to report the results of investment and operation of the project to upgrade and expand 5 clean water plants under the Company.

In order to cope with the challenges in clean water production due to climate change, Phu Tho Water Supply Joint Stock Company, with the introduction and support of the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association, has participated in the Vietnam - Australia Water Sector Cooperation Program sponsored by the Australian Government . Since 2017, through exchange and learning activities, Phu Tho Water Supply Joint Stock Company has cooperated closely with Coliban Water Company - Australia, specializing in asset management and optimizing water supply efficiency.

Since November 2023, the Company has invested in a number of important projects to improve production productivity and service quality to water users, including: Construction of a 4,800 m ³ tank and 2 filtration modules with a capacity of 3,000 m ³ / day and night at Viet Tri Clean Water Enterprise; completion and operation of the automation system of Thanh Thuy Water Supply Enterprise; increasing the capacity of Phu Tho Water Supply Enterprise from 20,000 m ³ / day and night to 30,000 m ³ / day and night and preparing to bid for the construction of the factory automation system; increasing the capacity of Cam Khe Water Supply Enterprise from 12,000 m ³ / day and night to 24,000 m ³ / day and night; Increasing the capacity of Phu Ninh Water Supply Enterprise from ^14,000m3 /day and night to ^22,000m3 /day and night and putting into operation the factory automation system. The above projects have brought about remarkable results, ensuring water supply in the summer of 2024 and improving water quality for local people.

With the operation of the project to upgrade and expand these 5 clean water plants, Phu Tho Water Supply Joint Stock Company commits to continue to promote productivity and service quality improvement, ensuring clean water supply for customers, especially during the hot season, while strengthening and expanding international cooperation to learn and apply advanced technologies in production activities.
