Binh Duong welcomes 8% increase in tourists during holidays, revenue reaches 83 billion VND

According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province, during this holiday, the province welcomed 151,000 tourists, an increase of 8% over the same period in 2023. Tourism revenue reached 83 billion VND, an increase of 18.6% over the same period last year. This is a positive result, contributing to affirming the potential for tourism development in Binh Duong.

Of the number of tourists coming to Binh Duong during the holiday, international visitors reached 6,000 and domestic visitors reached 145,000. The number of guests staying in the hotel reached 19,000 and the room occupancy rate reached 50-55%.

Dai Nam Tourist Area (Thu Dau Mot City) alone welcomed about 70,000 visitors, Thuy Chau Tourist Area (Di An City) welcomed about 42,000 visitors.

In addition, during the holidays at Bach Dang Park (Thu Dau Mot City), there is also a water music show on the Saigon River combined with a workers' fair, attracting visitors from provinces and cities to enjoy and have fun.

To welcome tourists during the holiday, tourism businesses in the province have made careful preparations. Tourist attractions and hotels have proactively developed plans to organize activities to serve guests, ensure security and order, fire prevention and fighting, food hygiene and safety, publicly post prices and sell at the right price.
