It is expected that in Phu Yen, the program will create a forum "Answering fishermen" for "fishermen to ask - the government to answer" issues related to life, livelihood, economic activities, and fishing in coastal provinces and cities.

Fishermen can express their thoughts, feelings and aspirations; express support for effective policies, guidelines and activities from the government; and reflect on difficulties and shortcomings related to their life at sea.

The government will acknowledge, respond, make promises and thereby consider promoting effective mechanisms and policies; adjust limited mechanisms and policies that have not brought benefits to fishermen.

The program will focus on promoting the efforts and achievements of Phu Yen province in combating illegal fishing; arousing the love for the sovereignty of the sea, islands and homeland of fishermen and people.

The program will give 200 gifts, each worth more than 4 million VND to 200 fishing households in Phu Yen province; including a battery, LED lights, a handbook "Things to know about catching seafood", a family medicine bag to serve fishermen going to sea.

The program also awarded 25 scholarships to fishermen's children in difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well (each scholarship includes 2 million VND in cash and other gifts).
