The Provincial People's Council passed 30 resolutions at its 13th session.

Provincial People's Council delegates demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, carefully considering, discussing, and unanimously agreeing on the resolutions presented at the session. Voting was conducted using paperless meeting software. Many important resolutions, crucial to the province's development plan for the coming year and subsequent years, included: the Resolution on the socio -economic development plan and ensuring national defense and security in 2024; the local budget estimate and allocation for 2024; the public investment plan for 2024; and the approval of the Dien Bien Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050…

In addition, one resolution was passed confirming the results of the confidence vote for positions elected by the Provincial People's Council; 12 normative resolutions regulating regimes and policies (Regulations on the content and expenditure levels for implementing Sub-project 1, Project 6 under the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction giai đoạn 2021-2025 in Dien Bien province; Issuance of regulations on policies to support the development of agricultural, forestry and fisheries production to restructure the agricultural sector in Dien Bien province; Amendments and supplements to some articles of the Resolutions of the Dien Bien Provincial People's Council regulating the implementation of national target programs giai đoạn 2021-2025 in Dien Bien province; Regulations on policies to attract human resources and support postgraduate graduation in Dien Bien province…).

In his closing remarks at the session, Comrade Lo Van Phuong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, emphasized that 2024 is a particularly important year with many political and cultural events: the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the 115th anniversary of the province's establishment, and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Provincial Party Committee... To successfully achieve the goals and tasks of socio-economic development and ensure national defense and security in 2024, and to implement the policies and measures that have been approved, the Provincial People's Council requested that immediately after the session, all levels and sectors promptly develop plans and seriously implement the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council. They should seize opportunities, leverage strengths, overcome difficulties and challenges, and build a more developed province.

For provincial People's Council representatives, it is important to promptly report to constituents on the results of the session, maintain close contact with constituents, listen to and truthfully reflect their opinions; actively monitor the resolution of citizens' petitions, complaints, and denunciations. Encourage the people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the laws of the State and the province.
