On July 20, social networks circulated a document from the Organizing Subcommittee serving the Congress of Delegates of the Tu Mo Rong Commune Party Committee (under the Party Committee of Tu Mo Rong Commune, Quang Ngai Province) about not accepting congratulatory flowers for the congress. Instead, the commune called for support for the program "Nurturing the Future - Developing Sustainable Crops in Tu Mo Rong".
The program was developed by the commune to mobilize social resources to support the Xo Dang people in developing high-value economic models, contributing to increasing income and stabilizing life. Instead of giving flowers, units, businesses, organizations and individuals are encouraged to support seedlings, fertilizers, materials or funding for the program.
Responding to reporters, Mr. Vo Trung Manh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tu Mo Rong commune, confirmed that the notice of not accepting congratulatory flowers for the congress that was spread online was a document from the commune.
Mr. Manh said that the First Party Congress of Tu Mo Rong Commune, term 2025-2030, will take place on July 23 and 24. In the coming term, the commune has identified the key goal of improving people's income and quality of life. One of the key solutions is to help people build high-value economic models such as medicinal plants, coffee, fruit trees, and forestry trees. These crops not only bring economic efficiency, but also cover the forest, protect the environment, and create sustainable livelihoods for people.

“We understand that during the congress, many units, businesses and individuals will send congratulatory flowers. But more than anyone else, we hope that instead of flowers, we will join hands to contribute to the program, so that the commune has more resources to help people develop the economy and stabilize their lives,” said Mr. Vo Trung Manh.
According to Mr. Manh, immediately after the announcement was made, many units and individuals registered to support pine tree seedlings and funding. Among them, an individual supported 30,000 pine trees. The commune committed that all contributions would be compiled, made public, and transparent immediately after the congress ended.
