This afternoon, January 22, Acting Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien worked with ENI Natural Energies Vietnam LLC (Italy), led by Mr. Giacomo Spadini, Executive Director, to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of carbon credit creation and agricultural materials in Quang Tri province.

Speaking at the meeting, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong affirmed that with the motto "Enterprise development - Quang Tri development", Quang Tri province always welcomes, welcomes and accompanies investors coming to Quang Tri to cooperate and develop.

The current vibrant development of Quang Tri province is promoted by a series of key programs and projects, including many projects of investors from many countries around the world , including the ENI Group of Italy.

The Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that through the signing of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation, Quang Tri province and ENI Natural Energies Vietnam LLC (ENE) will continue to build a comprehensive and responsible cooperative relationship and aim to contribute to the effective implementation of international commitments on the ecological environment of Vietnam and Italy.

Introducing the province's potential and advantages, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong said that Quang Tri province has an important geo-economic and political position, is the intersection of the North-South and East-West economic axes, and has favorable traffic conditions by road, rail and waterway, including the country's key traffic routes.

To promote its role and position as a major trade gateway, along with existing traffic works, Quang Tri province is mobilizing large resources to invest in developing new traffic infrastructure, key infrastructure projects as a foundation for the next stage of economic development. The province also focuses on directing the planning work, supplementing the power development planning, and wind power development planning in the province.

At the same time, speed up the implementation of power source and grid projects approved in the VIII Power Plan, the VIII Power Plan implementation plan, which have been approved by competent authorities in terms of investment policy and are being implemented.

ENE Company CEO Giacomo Spadini said that before working with the Provincial People's Committee, the delegation had a survey trip to the Quang Tri Industrial Park project, My Thuy deep-water seaport, key energy projects in the Southeast Economic Zone, and traffic infrastructure projects and was very impressed with the obvious changes here.

This is a necessary condition for implementing the next projects between the two sides, of which the signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Quang Tri province in the field of carbon credit creation and agricultural materials is the first step. Mr. Giacomo Spadini emphasized that the projects implemented by ENE Company always aim to receive positive feedback from the community, bring benefits to the people and be environmentally friendly.
