Journalist Pham Quoc Huy was appointed Editor-in-Chief of Life and Law Magazine.

Accordingly, with the consent of the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Information and Communications on the appointment of Editor-in-Chief of Life and Law Magazine, on June 14, 2024, the President of the Vietnam Lawyers Association signed Decision No. 100/QD-HLGVN appointing journalist Pham Quoc Huy - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Life and Law Magazine to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Life and Law Magazine.

At the ceremony, Mr. Luong Mai Sao - Member of the Party Committee, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organization and Personnel Committee of the Vietnam Lawyers Association announced the decision to appoint Mr. Pham Quoc Huy as Editor-in-Chief of the Life and Law Magazine by the President of the Vietnam Lawyers Association. The term of office is 5 years from June 14, 2024.

Speaking at the Conference, Dr. Nguyen Van Quyen - Chairman of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, on behalf of the leaders of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and development of the Life and Law Magazine (formerly the Life and Law Newspaper) since its establishment. According to the Chairman of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, the development and improvement of the personnel of the Life and Law Magazine is a common task of the Vietnam Lawyers Association.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quyen requested that the collective of cadres, reporters and editors of the Magazine must identify themselves as the mouthpiece of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, always performing well the strategic task of performing well the political task in accordance with the principles and purposes. Continue to ensure the material and spiritual life of all cadres, reporters and editors of the Magazine.

The President of the Vietnam Lawyers Association hopes that in his new position, journalist Pham Quoc Huy and the staff, reporters, and editors will promote collective strength, solidarity, and enthusiasm to strive together to make the Life and Law Magazine increasingly strong and complete the tasks assigned by the leaders of the Vietnam Lawyers Association.

Speaking at the ceremony, the new Editor-in-Chief Pham Quoc Huy expressed his gratitude for the attention and trust in the responsibility of the leaders of the Vietnam Lawyers Association. At the same time, he also thanked journalist Nguyen Tien Thanh - former Editor-in-Chief of Life and Law Magazine, Chairman of the Board of Members and General Director of the VietnamEducation Publishing House - as a leader, a teacher and a brother who has always guided him and the staff of Life and Law Magazine throughout the past time.

“I am aware that taking on a new responsibility is both an honor and a responsibility. Above all, it is an opportunity for me to personally devote all my enthusiasm and intelligence to the Editorial Board, all staff, reporters, editors and workers to contribute to the growing development of Life and Law Magazine,” journalist Pham Quoc Huy shared.

Journalist Pham Quoc Huy pledges to make every effort with the editorial board, staff, reporters, and editors to successfully complete the political tasks assigned by the Vietnam Lawyers Association in accordance with the set objectives and goals; strive to improve the lives of the editorial staff and employees.
