The program is part of the Project to Support Improvement of the Quality of Life of People with Disabilities in Provinces Heavyly Sprayed with Agent Orange/Dioxin, funded by the US Department of State .

Through the survey, the project selected 29 cases of people with disabilities and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin who are eligible to receive support, from the communes of Thien Hung, Hung Phuoc, Tan Tien, Da Kia, Bu Gia Map to implement in 2 years (from 2024 to 2026). The total support in the program is 540 million VND.
On average, each case is supported with 18 million VND, depending on the profession and job of each case; the person receiving the highest support is 24 million VND.

The project to support livelihoods for people with disabilities and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin shows concern, assistance, and creates conditions for these people to have suitable jobs, earn more income, overcome difficulties, improve their lives, and rise up.
