After more than 2 months of construction, the solid house with an area of over 95 m2 was completed and put into use. The Ministry of National Defense supported 60 million VND from the budget of the "Comrades' House" program.
Sharing at the ceremony, professional soldier First Lieutenant Pham Van Quan said: “My family still has many difficulties, I often work away from home, while the old house is in disrepair, so I am very worried. With the support of the unit to build a new house, my family is very secure. This is the motivation for me to continue to strive to complete my mission well.”
It is known that Senior Lieutenant Quan is a typical example in the unit's emulation movement, always dedicated and responsible in his work. In 2025, Senior Lieutenant Quan was assessed to have completed his tasks well and was awarded the title of Advanced Soldier.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Thao, representative of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command, affirmed that the house is the unit's affection and recognition for the efforts of Senior Lieutenant Quan. "The house is not big but it is solid and warm like the camaraderie. We believe that Comrade Quan will continue to stick together and make more efforts in his work, building his family and the locality," Lieutenant Colonel Thao emphasized.
On this occasion, local authorities and units also presented many meaningful gifts to support the family in daily life.
